Henderson is strip Mall heaven!  Every other mile you will find a small strip mall with a dozen or so retail outlets, a grocery chain, and fast food restaurants.  This is the "New" landscape familiar to those of you accustomed to the layout of the Southwest's growth boom.  Henderson Nevada has emerged as residential & services district based on this new planned community model.  You will surley find everything you need to accommodate your shopping requirements.

Note:  Henderson covers a large geographical area.  If you are flying in and plan to do much shopping then a rental car is required!  We recommend your take advantage of this cool Car Rental Rate Checker - which allows you to compare rates at all the major chains (Alamo, Thrifty, Dollar, etc.) with one simple search.  In less than 1 minutes you will have all the information you need.

Casinos

The major shopping attractions in the Casinos are in Las Vegas not Henderson.  You'll need to drive to the strip to hit the Form Shops at Caesar's Palace and Desert Passage at the Alladdin Hotel and Casino - the most popular.

Factory Outlets

Las Vegas Premium Outlets Shopping Centers formerly known as Belz Factory Outlet is located approximately 2.5 miles from the last major Casino on the south end of Las Vegas Blvd (and the far west edge of Henderson). The link takes you to the corporate site (We did this so you could would have information on their Outlet Shopping Center on the North End of the Strip as well).

And like any suburban area that has experienced any kind of growth there is a strip mall on every corner it seems.

Malls - The Galleria at Sunset

Located at the cross streets of Sunset Blvd. and Stephanie Ave on the southern edge of Henderson (Near the boulder Hwy) you'll find this modern upscale shopping mall.  The Galleria at Sunset features 110+ retail specialty shops on two levels. Major Tenants include Dillards, JC Penney, Mervyn's of California, and Robinsons-May.  The mall also contains a 600 seat food court

If you're not familiar with Henderson you can look for the big glaring lights of the Sam's Town Casino - The Galleria Mall is directly across the street.
