Information about the River Mountains Loop Trail, a 34-mile bike path that starts in Henderson, Nevada, and goes by Lake Mead. You do not have to ride the entire trail If you not ride a lot consider renting an e-Bike (34 miles may be at the end of range for some models though). As a reference my own bike with a 14AH Battery cruising at an average speed of 14mph uses 8 AH. So with moderate peddling I can easily cover this distance
Note: The Photo above is representative of the Henderson area, but it not actually taken at the River Mountains Bike Trail.
Most bikes will come stock with a 10AH Battery so you will be close to running out of power if you choose not to pedal at all. Be sure to ask at the place you rent. Also there are some access points like the one in the 2nd Video below that you can basically glide for 3.7 miles all downhill. This is definitely an early morning or late afternoon ride avoiding riding from Mid May to Late September unless you really want to work up a hard sweat!
Grab a look at all of Henderson’s Bike Paths from the City of Henderson Site listed on our Henderson MAPS page. I would link direct ,but these links change a lot so to minimize broken links I just link to the Maps Page. And if I find a newer better map I will swap out to the better map.
