I actually prefer Hyatt to Hilton in most cities because the “Free” Breakfast is generally better and I like the layout of the rooms better. Also some HYATT HOUSE properties with the small kitchens can be very helpful. This is a Hyatt Place not a Hyatt House. I do not believe this location offers the mini-kitchens and like most Hyatt Place rooms does not offer a microwave. Please check updated amenities on their site. Also I really appreciate the NOON Checkout time as apposed to the Hilton’s 11:00 am. This is nice if you have a later flight in the afternoon.
There are very few Hyatt Properties in the Las Vegas area and they no longer are affiliated with MGM (As of 2023 you’ll need to be a Marriot Bonvoy member to utilize points with the MGM). The Hotel Industry is in constant flux. The Hyatt House is not available in Las Vegas which is too bad because I feel they would be a fantastic option for families.
One thing to consider while choosing Hyatt is they often do not have a Laundry Facility in a good location. They may also not have ice machines on each floor. I found this to be kind of odd. Hopefully in Las Vegas they realize how important ice is for their customers. I do usually enjoy staying at Hyatt locations, but there is no reason for me to stay in a Hyatt Hotel in Las Vegas because I live here. Again this is not intended as a Hotel Review its just for informational purposes.
